COLUMBUS PARK RE-OPENS
After 7 years of inactivity, adult soccer is back to Port Chester. On October 6 2007, the ribbon was cut to re-open Columbus Park Turf. A state of the art field with seating for 400 hundred espectators and parking for 90 cars. The field itself is made of synthetic turf one of the latest editions of its kind currently being used in international fields and approved by FIFA.
The stadium counts with separate bathrooms one for players and the other for espectators. The sorroundings of this park, completed a few years ago, also has a play ground, basketball court, volleyball courts, a gazebo and picnic area with barbequing grills that can be used by permit only.
SEASON STARTEDS ON MAY 2008-ON
The PCSL is programmed to start its first season in May 2008. With a maximum of 8 teams in first 8 in second and 8 in Over 40 Divison, the PCSL is kicking off its first game in late May. Preliminary meeting are now being schedule and registration will soon start for all the Port Chetser soccer community.

The PCASL transitory committe is inviting team officials from all the existing clubs in Port Chester to our next schedule meeting.
Meeting will be held on June 07, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the court room in Port chester, located at:

Agenda:
1. - Approval of last meeting minutes.
2.- The initial deposit to secure a place will be $550.00
3.- Important dates to remember.
Due date for deposit ($550.00) 06/05/13
Player registration starts 05/31/13
Practices may starts as early as 05/23/13
League starts 06/09/13
League ends 09/15/13
4.- League will be able to participate in State Cups
Flamhat Cup $125.00 1 st & 2 nd Division Teams
Dr. Manning Cup $125.00 1 st Division Teams
National US Amateur Cup $250.00 1 st Division & Premier Division Teams
US Open Cup $2000.00 Premier Division Teams only
5.- League will be able to participate in Champions Cup.
The best two teams will go to the Champions Cup on June the following year.
There is a $5000.00 award to the first two. $3500.00 first placve and $1500.00 second place.
6.- Once the deposit is collected we will be able to issue Insurance Certificate to those teams to request Columbus Park Field or any other public park for practice.
7.- New ideas for changing the league’s name.
