Welcome to the X Independence Cup Youth Soccer Tournament. The Port Chester Soccer Club Inc. is pleased to invite you to apply to participate in our X Independence Cup Youth Soccer Tournament to be held on Friday September 4th, Saturday September 5th, Sunday september 6th and Monday, September 7th, 2015 at Columbus Park Soccer Field, Port Chester, New York. In order to make this an especial event, the Club always invites international teams from Europe, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. We also invite top select teams from other states in USA.
The tournament is for Boys 10 and 12 years old . Teams may have a maximum of 14 and 18 players respectively with valid passes including photographs, medical release forms, along with appropriate association approval. These will be checked the day of the tournament. Guest players will be allowed.
The tournament is open to all good ranking teams on a first come first serve basis. The Club reserve the right to pick teams if conflicts.
All accepted team will coverall their own expenses.
1.- Only two selected teams from each country will be awarded with this scholarship.
2.- The process of selection will be done at the level of each indidual country following guided rules of the tournament organizer.
3.- A maximum of two teams per age group per country will be awarded with this scholarship to participate in the "X Independence Cup - Port Chester New York"
4.- Each country will be arranging a small tournament to select the two representative teams for that country following guided rules of the organizer.
5.- The first two places in each division will be awarded.
6.- This Tournament must be done between the months of March and May of 2015.
All awarded teams will get:
- A 50% discount in registration fee.
-Free home staying for players hosted by the organizer for a maximum of 7 days and 6 nights.
-One double room for accompanying staff at Rye Town Hilton for a maximum of 6 nights. Room accomodates four people.
-Two paid full field trips.
1.- A day in New York City - full day event.
2.- Trip to Mountain Creek - water park - full day event.
3.- Open free day with families - shopping.
Note: All aifare tickets expenses will be the resposibility of the visiting teams
The organizer reserves the right to accept or deny any application.

Every team will play three guaranteed 30 or 40-minute games respectively. Prior to the tournament each club will receive a schedule of games and times, along with a copy of the rules.
Individual player trophies will be presented to the first place. Every player will receive a special tournament pin/patch.
